Agentlyft collects the following types of information in order to provide and improve our Service:

  • Account Information: your business name and email address, collected during account registration
  • Uploaded Documents: PDF files and text documents you upload to your knowledge base, which are processed to generate AI responses
  • Conversation Logs: WhatsApp message content exchanged between your customers and the AI assistant, including sender phone numbers, message text, and timestamps
  • Usage Data: message counts, storage usage, API calls, and feature usage patterns
  • WhatsApp Credentials: your WhatsApp Business Phone Number ID and access tokens, stored securely to facilitate API communication

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To process uploaded documents into vector embeddings for AI-powered search and retrieval
  • To generate AI responses to customer queries using your knowledge base
  • To display conversation history and usage analytics in your dashboard
  • To enforce usage limits and manage billing
  • To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service

3. WhatsApp Message Data

Message content passing through our platform is processed to generate AI responses and stored for your dashboard viewing. Specifically:

  • Incoming customer messages are received via the official Meta WhatsApp Business Platform API webhook
  • Messages are processed through our retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipeline to generate contextual AI responses
  • Both incoming and outgoing messages are stored in our database for conversation history and audit purposes
  • Message data is accessible only to the tenant (business) associated with the WhatsApp number

We do not sell message data to third parties. We do not use your message data to train AI models. We do not share message content with other tenants or external parties except as required by law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

  • Account data: retained until account deletion is requested
  • Uploaded documents and embeddings: retained until you delete them or your account is terminated
  • Conversation history: retained for the duration of your active subscription
  • Usage logs: retained for 12 months for analytics and billing purposes

Upon account termination, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
  • Secure storage of WhatsApp access tokens
  • Tenant isolation — each business can only access their own data
  • Regular security reviews and updates

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data under applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, and others):

  • Access: the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification: the right to request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion: the right to request deletion of your personal data
  • Portability: the right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection: the right to object to processing of your personal data
